Practitioners in St. Petersburg, Russia gathered in Victory Seaside Park square on May 16, 2009 to hold a series of activities celebrating the 17th anniversary of Falun Dafa's public introduction and the 10th World Falun Dafa Day.
Practitioners set up posters, demonstrated the exercises and told passersby that Falun Dafa has been spread to over one hundred countries, but in China it has been subjected to persecution by the Chinese Communist Party. Many passersby stopped to watch practitioners do the exercises, and learn details about Falun Gong and the persecution.
