Mr. Wang Maosheng Arrested and Beaten to Near Death by the Police

On the evening of July 8th, 2008, while waiting for some other people, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Maosheng was arrested by four officers from Mohudian Police Station.

At Mohudian Police Station, four or five officers beat him so brutally that he suffered a concussion. He felt dizzy, and his head ached. His chest was seriously injured and he coughed up blood. The injuries they inflicted on his abdomen resulted in a hernia. He was in critical condition.

The police took Mr. Wang to emergency at Ling'gang Hospital. Because an emergency operation requires a signature and about 40,000 yuan¹, the officers just left Mr. Wang there and fled.
