On the ninth anniversary of the “April 25th Appeal”, Falun Gong practitioners from Spain gathered at the Chinese Embassy to hold a commemorative activity and condemn the CCP’ persecution of Falun Gong.

On April 25th, 1999, over 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners spontaneously went to the State Appeal Office to conduct a peaceful appeal and ask for the release of 45 practitioners being illegally arrested in Tianjin city, ensuring Falun Gong practitioners to have a legitimate cultivation environment and allowing Falun Gong books to be published. At that time the Premier Rongji Zhu interviewed the representatives from Falun Gong practitioners and the matter obtained a preliminary solution, then over 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners left quietly. This was the “25th of April Peaceful Appeal”. However, less than three months after this event, Jiang’s regime took this as an excuse and launched the evilest and the most brutal persecution against Falun Gong. Until today, nine years has passed; the persecution is still going on.
The 25th April is a great significant commemoration day. Falun Gong practitioners from Spain gathered at the Chinese Embassy to condemn the CCP’s atrocity and appealed to stop this persecution.
A Falun Gong practitioner Jaoquin said in the speech that, "Falun Gong teaches people to be good, cultivators discipline themselves using the principle of Truthfulness Compassion and Tolerance, and think of others first on any occasions. After practiced Falun Gong, I experienced big changes, not only the improvement on moral standard, but also healthy changes in my body. Every true practitioner all has this personal experience. However, the wicked CCP launched a crazy persecution against such good exercises, this is out of its evil nature and its purpose is to destroy the morality and conscience of humanity." He added that, "For the nine years, Falun Gong practitioners persistently tell the truth of Falun Gong with no regard for the life and death. The purpose is to let people clearly recognise the evil nature of the CCP and withdraw from it, be a righteous and dignified Chinese person and choose a bright future for their own life."

Human rights lawyer Mr. Carlos also attended the activity. He said that, "The Jiang Zemin group will eventually be punished by law for the crime of genocide against Falun gong practitioners. Now the Spanish court is conducting the investigation on Jiang’s group’s crimes of persecution of Falun Gong. We believe that, in the near future, the Jiang’s evil groups will be put on the trial and receive the people’s judgement. Persecuting the righteous belief is not allowed by human law; natural justice does not even tolerate it!"
