Seven Practitioners Recently Arrested in Yuryang City, Hunan Province

Since March 4th, 2008, seven practitioners have been arrested in Yueyang City.

Ms. Shen Qunfang from the Huabanqiao Area was arrested on the evening of March 8th, and she is being detained in the Yueyang City First Detention Centre.

At around 3 p.m. on March 5th, Mr. Xie Zhongyi (from another province) was repairing a motorcycle when more than ten plain-clothed officers stormed into his home. They arrested him without following legal procedures and detained him in the Yueyang City First Detention Centre on March 8th.
