On January 20th, the last performance of the NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular in Los Angeles drew a large audience. Loren Kori, secretary for a workers union, and her husband, John Kori, told a reporter that they both enjoyed the show very much. Loren said the piece which described the persecution of Falun Gong deeply touched her heart.

Loren was impressed by the dance which described the persecution of Falun Gong and the suffering of practitioners. She said that since she already knew about the persecution, she was deeply moved by the dance.
Loren told reporter that she had read about the persecution in the Epoch Times newspaper. She also learned about the trend of quitting the communist party from the same newspaper. She is very glad that Falun Gong practitioners have the freedom to practise as they choose in America.

Craig Lee, a former manager for Mercedes-Benz, attended the performance with his fiance Terri Ma. Craig said that this was his first time to see such a show and he thought it was excellent. He commented on the dance, "The Power of Awareness." He said he had heard about the persecution of Falun Gong, but only on the surface level. He has sympathy for Falun Gong practitioners. He hopes that more people can learn the truth about the persecution and that the persecution will stop as soon as possible.
