From November 9th to 11th 2007, an international art exhibition was held in Salzburg, Austria. Artists from Europe and Asia displayed paintings, drawings, and sculptures. More than ten thousand people attended.

The International Artist Association in Austria (ASCARA) displayed some paintings from the Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition. Many artists and spectators were attracted by the works, and some said to practitioners, "Your artworks are both beautiful and shocking." People were shocked by the brutal persecution. One of the artists said, "What we can do is tell everyone about the persecution. We will expose the persecution until it stops."

An older gentleman cried in front of the painting which described the sorrow of a young practitioner who lost her husband during the persecution. He said, "It shocked me. The young girl sits right in front of me, like a real person." He was too sad to take a photograph of the painting. Fifteen minutes later, he calmed down and came back again. He took a photo of the painting and said that it was an important experience in his life.

Many spectators were moved by the artworks. Some heard about it from their friends and came to see it in person. A gallery owner invited practitioners to exhibit the artworks in her gallery next April.

Many people said that the modern artworks displayed at exhibition were all the same, but Falun Gong practitioners' works were different. They could feel the peaceful and benevolent energy in them.

Others told practitioners that their artworks were very shocking, but pure, and that they stood out in the exhibition.
