United States: The Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition Touches the Hearts of People
By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Utah In October 2007, the "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" art exhibition was held at the Whitmore Library in Utah. It was the first time the exhibition was held in Utah, and it will continue to be displayed in various libraries and exhibition centres around the state for one month. The artworks of this exhibition were compiled by a group of artists who practise Falun Gong. Through cultivation, they have experienced holistic improvement of their mind, body and spirit. Thus through the techniques of traditional art, they expressed their personal experiences and enlightenments to the deeper meanings of life, and displayed the illumination, pure righteousness and compassion which should be presented in art. The artists used their skills to portray the persecution that Falun Gong practitioners have suffered for eight years in China, and embody the uncompromising courage of these cultivators who solidly believe in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Many people were deeply touched by the pure and righteous works of art. Among them was professor Reynolds-Benns, who wrote a letter to the editor of his local newspaper, which read: After suggestions from some new friends, I ventured to the County's Whitmore Library to view a small exhibit on Falun Dafa that touched, inspired and horrified me. When we went downstairs, I was greeted by a woman who was making paper lotus blossoms with a young child.
