On August 14th, 2007, a one-week Cultural Festival was held in Gothenburg, the second biggest city in Sweden. The centre of the Cultural Festival was held in a park. The demonstration of Falun Gong exercises and instruction of the exercises interested many adults and children.

Demonstrating the practice

Some children asked their parents to take them to the place where Falun Gong practitioners held these activities and learned the practice again and again. Nearby, their parents were reading materials about Falun Gong or talking with other practitioners.

A young mother from Lapland in the northern part of Sweden took her three children to the park. On seeing her own children were learning Falun Gong, she was quite happy. She said, “Every child should behave well according to the principle of “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance”.
