a child cries
innocence
out in the cold
everyday
a mother cries
another life lost
from truth untold.

Everyday
silence cries
behind many
a China’s wall.
everyday
justice cries
for the world
to hear its call.

Everyday
conscience cries
for a nation
torn apart.
everyday
a child cries
just one of
millions of hearts!
