Poem: Come See
By a Falun Gong practitioner

Come see the darkness
fading
a distant light upon the
horizon
come see the shores now
shining
a land awakening under the
sun.

Come see the ‘party’*
falling
a spectre across countless
hearts
come see a new China
emerging
from all that is torn
apart.

Come see the dawn
arising
a reign so near to
death
come see the storm
subsiding
a people again finding life and
breath.
