Falun Dafa Practitioner Yan Xiling is on Hunger Strike to Protest Persecution at the Shandong Province Wangcun Women's Forced Labour Camp; Her Life is in Danger
Ms. Yan Xiling, 48, is from Wangfu Village under the Zhaode Street Committee in Qingzhou City, Shandong Province. She was sentenced to forced labour again in June 2006. Her life at the Wangcun Women's Forced Labour Camp is endangered. Yan Xiling began practising Falun Dafa in 1997. Since July 20th, 1999 when the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the persecution, local police had arrested her several times. She left home in 2000, unable to lead a normal life, and has since wandered about. Not long after she left home, she was reported to police and arrested. The police in Jingzhou City sentenced her to three years of forced labour, and she was sent to the No.2 Women's Forced Labour Camp. After her release from that camp in October 2004, she was directly transported against her will to the Qingzhou Brainwashing Centre and kept for one month. Xu Wende and Zuo Hengfa in Qingzhou City were responsible for her arrest. In the spring of 2005, after she was once free, Zuo Hengfa and others tried many times to find Yan Xiling, who had decided to leave home again. Yan Xiling was reported to police on June 19th, 2006 and arrested by Qingzhou police. After being held in the Qingzhou City Detention Centre for more than ten days, they sent her back to the Wangcun Women's Forced Labour Camp where she again suffered from persecution. We recently received urgent information from the labour camp. Since Yan Xiling went on a hunger strike to protest the detention, she has been in solitary confinement and is now in critical condition.
