Italy: Falun Gong Practitioners Protest against the CCP Persecution

On July 20th, 2006, Italian Falun Gong practitioners organised activities in all parts of Italy to mourn 2920 fellow practitioners in China who had been persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party to death and also to protest against the brutal persecution of Falun Gong launched on July the 20th 1999 by the Jiang’s regime and the CCP.

Banners were displayed outside the Chinese Consulate in protest against the persecution	In remembrance of the Chinese fellow practitioners who were persecuted to death
People came one after another to understand the fact	A Chinese person attentively reading the truth leaflets
Passers-by who understood the facts of the persecution signed the petition to protest against the persecution

Italian practitioners held activities to protest against the persecution outside the Chinese Consulate in Milan and Florence and the Chinese Embassy in Rome. Many of the practitioners came from different parts to participate in the activities; some of them even traveled for hundreds of kilometers. Practitioners distributed Chinese leaflets in various places to expose the CCP’s crimes of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Practitioners also informed overseas Chinese people of the fact that Milan Criminal Court had established a charge against Jiang Ming, the director and reporter of the Chinese newspaper “European Chinese Paper.”

After the protest outside the Chinese Consulate in Florence ended at noon, the practitioners proceeded to take part in activities in the Piazza Republica in the centre of Florence. At noon the temperature was rising to forty degrees. With the sun directly beating down on them, the practitioners were still calling on people to help end the seven year persecution against Falun Gong practitioners in China and to terminate the CCP’s tyranny.
