On April 22nd, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners came to Tvrdosin, a small town in northwest Slovakia, to introduce Falun Gong to local residents. Practitioners set up information desks in Trojicne Square, and demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises there. They also set up display boards with photos and information exposing the Chinese Communist regime’s persecution of Falun Gong practitioners during the past seven years or so, including the recently exposed atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit in China’s forced labour and concentration camps, etc.

Local residents passing the information desks were eager to talk to practitioners in order to learn more about the facts of Falun Gong. Some also signed the petition to show their opposition to the on-going persecution in China. Reporters of local newspapers Nasa Orava and the Tvrdosin Journal also came to cover the event.
