Poem: Red Death

Red death - hands bloodstained
of countless lives lost
and only power gained.

Red “Party”¹ - poisoned hearts
of a tempest unbridled
from its tainted past.

Red flags - an allegiance blind
of terror unfurled
from darkest designs.

Red tears - China’s despair
of tides now turning
free from the dragon and its evil lair.
