French Falun Gong Information Centre: Economic Trading and Human Rights From September 5th to September 12th, Zhejiang Province held “Zhejiang Week” in Paris. Taking advantage of this opportunity, the French Falun Gong Information Centre sent out a declaration to the press, economic trading and human rights organisations, and relevant government divisions in the hope that French society might pay attention to the bloody persecution of Falun Gong and that the emphasis on morality and the respect for human rights are guarantees to normal business. The development and expansion of a political power that does not respect the basic rights of people nor morality is a threat to all people. We are here in particular to deliver an important message to those Chinese people participating during “Zhejiang Week”: Please cherish the short yet valuable opportunity to come to such a country of freedom, to thoroughly understand the predestined fate of the evil Chinese Communist Party (CCP) that commits countless cruel crimes against Chinese people, especially to Falun Gong, and to say from our hearts to the CCP, to stay away from evil and to stop persecuting Falun Gong. By so doing we can protect ourselves and save our people and country. Taking advantage of “Zhejiang week”, the Falun Gong Association hopes to attract the community’s attention to the persecution of Falun Gong. In the consecutive six-year persecution in China, we have already confirmed that at least 2,789 Falun Gong practitioners were cruelly tortured to death, ten among whom died in Zhejiang. The only reason why those men and women were persecuted to death was for their belief in Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. According to the investigation report, there are brainwashing centres in Zhejiang, especially in Xiaojun Township, where Falun Gong practitioners are spiritually and physically tortured to be forced to give up their belief. There still exist labour camps where cruel torture is practised in Zhejiang Province, in particular the Shilipin labour camp in Zhejiang. According to witnesses, Falun Gong practitioners are also harassed in their homes and are arrested for cruel torture and killing at will by the police in Zhejiang. Though such information is blocked, according to the information currently to hand, there were ten Falun Gong practitioners persecuted to death by the authorities in Zhejiang Province since Falun Gong was persecuted in 1999 as follows:-. Geng Guodong, male, twenty nine year-old, cruelly tortured to death, died in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province The French Falun Gong association earnestly requests those attending Zhejiang Week to appeal to their colleagues to respect Falun Gong practitioners’ basic human rights. We believe that the expansion of a government that despises basic human rights and that does not respect morality is a threat to the values of humanity and a threat to the dignity of the freedom in our society. There have been several people responsible involved in persecuting Falun Gong and who are being sued in France: 1. Li Lanqing, the Deputy Prime Minister in China, the head of the 610 Office; Among the above mentioned cases, the Tribunal de Grande Instance de Paris issued an international investigation certificate of entrustment of the first case to the relevant divisions in China.
