Poem: New Beginnings

New beginnings
Where no shadows cast,
The chapter’s end
Another season at last.This spectre behind China
Once eclipsing the sky,
Now horizons shining
Hearts awakening wide. With every darkness lifted
The torch of freedom aflame,
Here, the ‘Great Law’ abounds
Worlds never the same.Many a sail unfurled
Turning time and tide,
New beginnings prevail
When forces of old subside.
