Above the tides of tears,
Compassion shining no more
Soon the skies to awaken
Brighter than ever before.

When the world takes a stand
And the persecution nears its end
Voices together in chorus
Until the song of freedom ascends.

Come see the light of day
Hearts rising to the dawn
Where truth has found its way
And a new tomorrow is born.

Let the children laugh again
Parting any clouds of despair
With hope upon the horizon
Casting down the evil’s lair.

Beyond China’s darkest hour
The reign of bitter cold
Its final chapter closing
Sails to boundless shores unfold.

Come see the light of day
