The annual Rotterdam Chinese Festival was held this year on the 28th and 29th of August in Chinatown. The weather was warm and the streets were crowded with Dutch citizens. Falun gong practitioners went to Chinatown and hung a “Falun Dafa” banner and distributed leaflets about the persecution in China while playing Dafa music and demonstrating the exercises.

There were lots of children and adults wanting to learn the exercises and children were carefully learning the meditation. Their pure and innocent expressions touched everyone and their parents’ faces showed a great deal of pleasure. Lots of tourists received practitioners’ leaflets and English Video-CDs happily and during the activity lots of people came forward and read the truth clarification posters, asking the practitioners about Falun Gong’s present situation in China. Practitioners also explained the torture methods in China to the people patiently. There were also lots of tourists who had already heard of the persecution of Falun Gong in China and were shocked and surprised.
