On August the 11th 2004, two days before the Olympic Games began, a colourful Falun Gong parade took place in Athens, the capital city of the host country of this year’s Olympic Games. With surprised and happy smiles, people stopped and applauded the Falun Gong practitioners who carried banners reading “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance,” and “Falun Dafa is Good”.

During the period of the Olympic Games, Falun Gong is the only group which has been granted permission to parade.
