Although it rained during the parade, those who participated were not perturbed and solemnly carried on. The parade included practitioners holding banners, followed by a trailer on which an anti-torture exhibition took place, which in turn was followed by a precession of female Falun Gong practitioners holding photos of some of those who have died under Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin and his regime during the persecution of Falun Gong.

The horrific nature of the staged torture scenes caught people's attention and successfully highlighted the inhumane persecution that is happening in China.
