To relinquish our calm of mind,
Our reason and sobriety,
And we strengthen the reigns
Of our ‘lesser’ nature.

However, to relinquish our attachments,
Our human notions and behaviour,
And we indeed weaken these reigns to
Cultivate something of our ‘greater’ nature.
