On May 27, to support the hearing of the Chicago lawsuit against Jiang at U.S. 7th Circuit Court, Falun Dafa practitioners in Japan rallied in front of the Chinese Embassy in Tokyo. Practitioners displayed banners reading, "Internationally Bring Jiang to Justice," "Falun Dafa is Good" and "Jiang Sued Overseas for Genocide" to expose the crimes of Jiang and his followers to the Japanese people. Practitioners also explained what Falun Gong is and the facts of the brutal persecution to passersby.
