Finland: Practitioners in Helsinki Let People Know the Facts about the Persecution of Faun Gong during the Chinese Foreign Minister’s Visit

On the 20th of April during the Chinese Foreign Minister’s visit to Finland, Falun Dafa practitioners in Finland clarified the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong in central Helsinki. The Chinese minister’s retinue came to Finland by boat from Sweden in the morning. After leaving the terminal, the first thing the retinue saw was practitioners’ peaceful appeal with banners reading, “Falun Dafa is Great” and “Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice.”

At mid-day practitioners held some activities at the railway station. An exercise demonstration and information about the ongoing persecution of Falun Dafa in China brought many people to find out more. When people saw a banner with pictures of practitioners being persecuted to death and the text, “Help to Stop the Genocide” they came to practitioners to get information and ask questions. Most of the people were understanding and sympathetic.

In the evening practitioners held a candle light vigil in front of the Chinese embassy demanding that the persecutors be brought to justice
