Canada: Canadian Citizen Appeals for the Rescue of His Mother in China Canadian citizen Mr. Xiao Jin, who currently resides in New York, is appealing to people from all walks of life to help rescue his mother, Ms. Li Guangzhen, who was arrested by police in China. Mr. Xiao learned about her arrest when he called his family in China on the evening of March 15, 2004. Ms. Li was allegedly arrested for distributing materials that clarify the truth about Falun Dafa. Witnesses of the incidence stated that another two elderly ladies were arrested at the same time, also for distributing truth-clarifying materials. Li Guangzhen is currently detained at the Gongan County Detention Centre. Li Guangzhen is facing imminent danger of being sentenced to prison or a forced labour camp. She is not allowed to meet with family members.
