Poland: Falun Gong Practitioner’s Painting Exhibition Brings Brilliance to Ancient Warsaw

At the beginning of March, Ms Zhang Cuiying, a well-known artist of traditional Chinese painting from Australia, held a two-day exhibition in the Polish capital. Ms Zhang displayed over fifty of her fine creations at a gallery in Warsaw. MP Paul Poslus made an opening speech at the exhibition. Ms Zhang talked to the audience about the history of her painting career. Moreover, she spoke about being put in prison on returning to China just for speaking out for Falun Gong; for eight months she suffered torture and brutality.

The exhibition attracted a large audience, including national officials, writers, reporters, representatives of human rights organisations and lovers of art and human rights. They expressed their respect for Ms Zhang Cuiying’s persistent pursuit of justice. With her painting exhibition, Ms Zhang has brought the beauty of art to ancient Warsaw, as well as the beauty of “Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance”.

Many representatives of the media, including Polish National Television, TVP, RMF-FM radio, the Polish Daily and Journal, reported on the exhibition.
