Ireland student Liu Feng was detained in Dalian Forced Labour Camp because he is a Falun Gong practitioner. Recently, practitioners received information that Liu Feng has been released but is in hospital. This only occurs when a labour camp detainee has been tortured close to death and prison authorities intend to shift the blame away from themselves. Because of this, practitioners believe that Liu Feng is in serious danger. As a result of this, practitioners in Dublin held a press conference outside the Chinese Embassy on the 14th of January concerning Liu Feng’s situation. They called for help and support in the hope that he can be rescued and allowed to return to Ireland to continue his studies.
