Preparations for the annual European Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference have been arranged and practitioners are now awaiting the start of the conference. According to prediction, there should be hundreds of Falun Gong practitioners attending the conference, which is being held in Berlin, from 20 countries throughout Europe. Below is a tidied version of a recorded report by Tian Yi, a reporter with RFA in Germany.

Since 1999, when the Chinese government began to carry out its cruel persecution of Falun Gong, the influence of Falun Gong in Europe became larger every day. When this reporter learnt that the annual European Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference was to be held in Berlin, Germany this year, he went to interview Ms Zhihong Zheng, a student from Zhejiang University and one of those responsible for preparing this conference.

Ms Zhihong Zheng told the reporter about how the European Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference in Europe has evolved.

Ms Zhihong Zheng said, the issue of the persecution of Falun Gong has gained considerable notice from every country’s government in Europe, and has become the most important part of China’s human rights problem. Meanwhile, Falun Gong’s influence in European society is not just simply a Chinese political matter. As a result of the increase in number of western people who have come across Falun Gong, it has merged more into western society. She said that this experience sharing conference would become an important activity in one of Europe’s cultural city, Berlin.
