Recently, the largest attorney's association in Taiwan issued a declaration that they support Falun Dafa practitioners' international human rights lawsuits. Over 100 attorneys in Taiwan signed the declaration that states: Based on principles of justice and to safeguard human rights, we call on all to stop Jiang and his accomplices' violent persecution of Falun Dafa (Falun Gong) practitioners and support global legal action to bring them to justice.

Since September 2003, several Falun Dafa practitioners in Taiwan formed a legal team to clarify the truth in each county and city legal office. Based upon these face-to-face meetings, many attorneys, judges and congressional representatives clearly understand the facts about the persecution of Falun Dafa. They expressed their support for Falun Dafa practitioners' global legal efforts to bring Jiang to justice. In addition to the support of the association, over 100 attorneys individually signed their support of bringing human rights violator Jiang to justice. The declaration is attached at the end of this article.

During the process of clarifying the truth and collecting petitions, Falun Dafa practitioners indicated that although China is not a signer of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, this Court should not and cannot ignore the calls for justice coming from every corner of the world. We will submit these petitions, the Declaration and other righteous calls for justice to the International Criminal Court. It is our hope that that the Court will pay attention to the voices of the legal professionals who are safeguarding human rights and justice by accepting our lawsuits to stop this persecution. After we clarified the truth to them, there were no attorneys who did not support the global legal actions against Jiang. More attorneys continue to sign on as supporters of the Declaration. Some attorneys feared Chinese pressure, while some judges could not express their support in a written document due to their pubic position. However, most of them told Falun Dafa practitioners that they will clarify the truth of Falun Dafa and its persecution to other people in the legal field. They hope that all professionals, whose mission it is to safeguard human rights, will understand the truth of this persecution and support the lawsuits against Jiang.

During this process, practitioners in Taiwan upgraded continuously, eliminating many blockages to clarify the truth to legal professionals. Master said,

"So as for your suing the head scoundrel this time, I've been observing and watching you. When I discovered certain problems I told some individual Dafa disciples, "We can't be too attached to ordinary people." If we truly bring it to court, if we truly manage to sue it successfully, if we're truly able to push this thing forward, then it will have been done by our Dafa disciples. Wherever there's a problem, that is where we should go clarify the facts--judges, lawyers, and the various people involved in the suit are all people we should clarify the facts to. Once the human minds are rectified, the court will stand on the side of justice. Then won't it be our Dafa disciples doing that? Won't it result from Dafa disciples validating the Fa? Won't it be the accomplishment of Dafa disciples? You can't call it ordinary people validating the Fa, it's Dafa disciples walking their own path. That's the little bit that makes things different." A Declaration to "Support the Global Efforts to Bring "International Human Rights Scoundrel Jiang to Justice"

To Whom it may concern,

I (signors) oppose all inhuman violence that the international human rights violator, former Chairman, Jiang Zemin, conducted toward innocent Falun Dafa practitioners. Based upon the principles of justice, virtue and courage to safeguard human rights, I want to call forth the reasons below and declare:

1. The freedoms of belief and speech must be protected--Jiang's human rights persecution and violence toward Falun Dafa practitioners is illegal, unjust, and immoral. In the court of my personal conscience, I declare that Jiang is guilty! I call for the Chinese government to stop cooperating with Jiang's human rights persecution and stop Jiang's brutality to eliminate Falun Dafa.


2. Human rights violations must be punished and stopped--therefore, I support Falun Dafa practitioners in America and around the world to bring Jiang and other culpable officials to legal trials for their human rights violations.


3. Justice and the law must be protected and respected--therefore, I encourage each country's government to not be afraid of or be tempted by Jiang and the Chinese government's political threats and incentives, respect each country's legal system, safeguard human rights and bring to court Jiang and his culpable officials with fair, just, open and proper legal proceedings.


4. International justice must be upheld and sustained--therefore I call for international human rights organisations and each country to address the problem of Jiang's persecution of Falun Dafa using peaceful means. Immediately rescue those Falun Dafa practitioners persecuted in China and stop Jiang's inhumane conduct and violence to eliminate Falun Dafa, so that Falun Dafa practitioners in China will again enjoy freedom of believe and practise, and that overseas Falun Dafa practitioners will no longer be slandered, harassed or beaten by Jiang's overseas operatives, and enjoy their citizen's rights peacefully and safely.
