Poem: What is Cultivation?


Sitting in a sheltered bay,
Water calm, flat, and tranquil;
Cultivation is like looking out to the ocean,
Seeing the waves and turbulent waters,
And going forward,
Knowing that the ride will be rough.

But to have the determination to reach the shore,
Being given the path, the direction, and the wisdom,
The only thing needed is the heart.
