Poem: Hometown
By a Dafa practitioner
Rays of light filter soft through ancient trees, Deep forest whispers many secrets to me; Vibrant green fern plants cleansed by the rain, Woodland voices echo faint on the breeze. Bluest abyss encompasses all it can reach, Feeds the sky to nourish the thirsty earth; Sandy shore and crashing mirth of foam, Fills the ears with sweetest song. Simple core at the centre of quiet lives, the market and park and coffee shop; Of all things that come and go so fast in life, grateful to have known a true hometown.
