Ukraine: Dafa Practitioners Hold a Performance for Children

On the 29th August, Dafa practitioners held a performance at a Children’s Home in Kiev. The performances included dancing accompanied by a traditional Ukrainian instrument, the Bantula, as well as several songs, some of which were composed by Dafa practitioners as well as traditional Ukrainian songs. Every part of the performance won warm applauds from the children.

After the show, we had also arranged a quiz for the children to allow them to test their comprehension of the words “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance”. The children shared their understanding and said that these words had meanings like honesty, telling the truth, being a kind person, being polite, respecting each other, helping each other; having endurance, being able to restrain one’s self, not retaliating, persevering when completing something etc.

To end the day, we played the film “The Path for Returning to One’s Origin”.

Both the school’s teachers and the pupils thanked us for the concert and they hoped that we would come again.
