Painting and Poem: Cherubs

Painting by Caixing, poem by Tangyun.

Tangyun wrote the following poem for Caixing's painting "Cherubs":

“Babies”

Sitting on the rocks,
Running amongst the clouds,
Flying in the skies,
Jumping beside the lotus,
Happy yet not noisy,
Leaping quietly,
They laugh and laugh.

With pure and milk-white bodies,
With innocent faces and kind little hearts,
When asked "Where is your home?'
They point beyond the heaven.

The three chinese characters depicted in the top right of the picture read: "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance" - the principles of Falun Gong.
