Hungary: Falun Dafa Workshop Successfully Held in Szombathely Over the previous weekend, Falun Dafa practitioners from Hungary and Austria held a workshop for local people in Szombathely. Szombathely is a small city in the west of Hungary. The locals were very interested to learn, after hearing about Falun Dafa. The workshop consisted of showing the videos “Returning to One’s Self" and “Appeal to China", practitioner’s telling people about their personal experiences, and an exercise demonstration and poster display.
The locals were shocked to hear about Jiang Zemin’s evil persecution of Falun Dafa in China. It isn’t difficult for Hungarians to understand this persecution, because there was a similar kind of state-terrorism in Hungary in the 1950s, when it was a socialist country. They were quick in learning the exercises, many performing the movements correctly on the first attempt. The local people even wanted to establish a regular local practice group.
