Pirjo first thanked the Swedish government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Swedish Ambassador to Thailand and the officials working with the Embassy for the great efforts they made to rescue her. She also expressed her concern about Dr. Charles Li and other practitioners in China, who are being imprisoned and tortured by the Jiang regime.

A practitioner who went to the Ministry with Pirjo outlined the importance of the global lawsuit against Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin, who is the key instigator of the brutal persecution against Falun Gong. She also mentioned the crimes Jiang has committed, such as crimes against humanity, genocide and ordering torture of the most horrific nature. Through this meeting, the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has come to know more about the truth of Falun Gong.
