Norway: “Falun Gong” Printed in Norwegian

The book Falun Gong has now been published in Norwegian. Falun Gong is an introductory book, systematically spelling out the practice of Falun Gong in plain, accessible language. It thus serves as an ideal entry point to beginning the practice. A book launch was held at a major bookshop in downtown Oslo and was attended by people who had been specially invited by the bookshop staff. They got to know more about the principles, practice and benefits of Falun Gong, as well as the worldwide recognition and brutal persecution.

During the book launch, practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts and practised the fifth exercise, the sitting meditation. This created a very peaceful atmosphere. The audience listened with great attention and asked many questions during and after the event. One person wanted to learn the exercises immediately, while others came to the local practice site over the next few days. Also, an elderly lady, who had cautiously asked if she could sit in the front row, told us afterwards that she knew she had definitely come to the right place!
