Four years ago, ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners went to Beijing to peacefully appeal to the government to uphold their basic rights as Chinese citizens. This was a noble act of compassion. The Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin spread lies about this event to turn people’s heart against Falun Dafa, and used the event as a springboard to launch his brutal campaign of terror against Dafa practitioners in China and all over the world.

During the rally, practitioners read a statement, exhibited display boards showing the facts of the persecution, distributed flyers, talked to passers by and accepted interviews from reporters.
