Heard things others cannot hear
Endured when others would have shed a tear
Told things that others were not told
Received for free more than others have been sold

I smile at all the others with a sigh
Crawling in a circle until they die
Reflect upon myself and realise I
Lack the compassion to deserve this prize

Others live for dreams lifeless as stones
I want to help from deep within my bones
If only others read the book I read
And take to heart the words my Teacher said
