Poem: Ying Chun Blossoms

Bursting forth from a single branch,
Thirty-six red plum blossoms
Beautiful, handsome, brilliant
In a cruelly cold winter they still bloom.
A suffering heart may feel
Father Time so slowly moves.
Ah! Now you can see the truth
Bright spring will not arrive late!

In Chinese, the "Ying" mentioned here in the title means "greeting, welcoming, receiving" and "Chun" means "(the season of) spring".
