Dear friends, adherents of Falun Gong,

I greet you from my heart and wish your gathering great success and that you receive close attention from the surrounding world.

Today’s world needs us continually to point out the injustice that is taking place even if it is on the other side of the Earth and against one single person. It is even more necessary to focus attention on crimes committed against whole communities whether they are national, political or spiritual and religious.

But what the world today does not need less of is quietening down, meditation and knowing oneself. Only in this way shall we all be able to feel free and safe.

Falun Gong connects both of these needs. That is the reason why I am personally sympathetic to the Falun Gong movement.

Take care of yourselves and persevere!
