Germany: Falun Gong Presentation at the 5th Womens Political Advisory Meeting in the University in Dusseldorf Falun Gong practitioners were invited to staff an information booth at the 5th Womens Political Advisory Meeting hosted by the Courage Womens group, and to present a 20-minute presentation with the theme Religion and Spirituality. A group of practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and many of the people who saw them came to talk with the practitioners afterwards. People repeatedly asked why Jiangs regime is persecuting Dafa practitioners. The tremendous guilt they have heaped upon themselves became obvious. Between 2,00 and 3,000 people participated in this conference. Our oral presentation on the stage differed considerably from other presentations. Most of the other womens speeches had a rather combative, confrontational tone. At the request of the stage manager, we invited the 70 persons present in the auditorium to follow the exercise movements. Everyone stood up and joined the practitioners, accompanied by Dafa music. The atmosphere was one of concentration. People were moved by a practitioners presentation that followed the exercises. The speech let people feel Dafas harmonious effects. It outlined the support Dafa has received from the UN, the EU, US Congress and other governments regarding human rights situations. Following that, the attendees were totally silent whilst practitioners portrayed the persecution, particularly focusing on the persecution against women. Whilst all this was taking place, we showed photos of peaceful meditation exercises and also of the persecution. Everyone seemed to be impressed, especially because we were so peaceful and compassionate even though we talked about some of the most horrific crimes the world has ever seen. At the end of our presentation, the stage manager wrote the principles of Falun Gong, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, onto a huge blackboard. At the conclusion of this conference the following day, Falun Gong was honoured with a special mention for making an impression on the attendees.
