HK Practitioners Hold Sit-in Appeal Against Article 23 Legislation


The Hong Kong Legislature held the first public hearing on legislation based on Article 23 of Basic Law on November 7, 2002. From 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., over one hundred Falun Gong practitioners held a sit-in protest in Chater Gardens. They protested the legislation that extends the Jiang regime's persecution to Hong Kong. The practitioners also Fa Zheng Nian [rough translation - sent forth righteous thoughts. This can be understood as a type of meditation.]
