Central News Agency (Taiwan): Reports That President Bush Clearly Indicated to Jiang Not to Use Counter terrorism to Justify Suppressing Freedom of Speech
According to a report by the Central News Agency, during his meeting with Jiang, President Bush emphasized that no nation should take advantage of counter terrorism to justify the suppression of peaceful expression of political opinions. He also urged that China free prisoners of conscience and give fair treatment to people of faith.
