Poland: Week Long Vigil Held in Front of the Chinese Embassy

Polish practitioners, together with practitioners from Sweden and the UK held a 7-day, ‘around-the-clock’, peaceful appeal in front of the Chinese Embassy in Poland to stop the persecution of Falun Dafa in China.

Practitioners did Fa Zheng Nian [rough translation – Send Righteous Thoughts. This can be understood as a type of meditation.] and practiced the exercises as well as clarify the facts of the persecution in China.

At the start of the vigil, the weather changed and became quite stormy. But despite this, practitioners remained resolute. It was this resilience and pure heart that touched the passers-by.

Candles were arranged in the form of three Chinese characters; Zhen, Shan, Ren [Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance. These are the principles of Falun Dafa]. However, throughout the periods when practitioners did Fa Zheng Nian, the candles had to be constantly re-lit. Interestingly, the character “Shan” [Compassion] remained lit throughout.
