Text of report by Radio TV Hong Kong audio web site on 27 August Eight Chinese teenagers have surrendered to the police in Paris after claiming they had escaped from people-smugglers. The five girls and three boys said their parents were jailed [practitioners of] Falun Gong. They claimed they had been smuggled out of China by a [practitioner]. According to the youngsters, a smuggler met them in Yugoslavia and put them on a truck to France. But after three days without food, they escaped and sought help.
