UK: Falun Gong performances cheered by audience at Edinburgh Festival

On 11th August, the famous International Annual Art Festival began in Edinburgh. The Meadows Park, which is normally quiet and peaceful, was packed on this day with crowds attracted to the event. According to media reports there were about 150 thousand tourists participating in the various activities. Right after the performances by Dafa practitioners won first prize in the parade a few days ago, today’s performances by Dafa practitioners in Scotland, dressed in traditional Chinese costumes, were again warmly received by the audience.

As soon as the exercise performance started, many tourists gathered on the sidewalks, and their cameras were flashing one after another. We managed to give out a few thousand copies of Dafa leaflets. The audience even queued up to sign their names on the petition to stop the persecution. The beautiful performances by Dafa practitioners also attracted groups of local photographers from Edinburgh’s media.

A Chinese martial arts coach from England even asked Dafa practitioners to teach the exercises at his classes. Indeed, the glory of Dafa is attracting more and more people from all over the world.
