Canadian Member of Parliament Responds to Practitioners' Email Appeal Regarding the Hong Kong Trial

Thank you for your email of August 6, 2002 regarding the trial of Falun Gong practitioners in Hong Kong. I am grieved to hear of the recent problem in Hong Kong.

As in similar cases, I will appeal to the federal Liberal government for them to make a clear statement on this matter specifically and the larger persecution of Falun Gong members, especially by the Chinese government.

We will continue the struggle with you.
