On the night of December 31, 2001, when Xu Songduo (female), a Dafa practitioner from Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, was distributing truth-clarifying materials about Falun Dafa in the countryside within the borders of Zhongmu County, a village Party secretary, who knew nothing about the truth of Dafa, reported her. Vicious police tortured her that entire night trying to learn the source of the materials so as to take credit and obtain a reward from their superiors. With her righteous belief in Master and Dafa, she completely shattered their vain hopes by not revealing anything. At 5 a.m. the next morning, Xu was sent to Zhongmu County Detention Centre and has been detained there ever since. Her family members tried to visit her many times but were rejected by the detention centre authorities. It was said two days ago that she had already been taken to court and was now awaiting the court's verdict.

This Dafa practitioner's home is in the area under the Dongsan Road Police Station's jurisdiction in Zhengzhou City. The malicious officers from Zhongmu County Police Department and Zhongmu County Procurators' Department went to her home to harass her family six times. Her husband, who is of poor health, and her 13-year-old son, resisted the harassment by speaking to them with a voice of justice. The persecutors had to leave the family's home dejectedly each time and have not returned since. However, the policemen from Dongsan Road Police Station continue to come to her home to harass them. Under this huge pressure and illegal persecution, her husband's illness has become more and more serious. The household responsibility therefore lies on their child.

We hope all kind-hearted people and human rights organizations pay attention to this case. Here, we seriously warn those lawless people: Stop persecuting the kind-hearted Dafa Practitioners. Otherwise, the laws of heaven will punish you!
