Liu Jiying, female, was arrested in June 2001 and sentenced to eight years imprisonment.

Liu Xiaojie, female, Liu Jiying's younger sister, was also arrested in June 2001, and sentenced to seven years imprisonment. She has been on hunger strikes many times. She is now very weak, and was sent to the hospital a few days ago.

Liu Gexin and her husband Li Qihe were arrested on October 25, 2001 because someone tipped off the police by saying they were distributing Falun Dafa truth clarifying VCDs. This couple was sentenced to one year of forced labour camp.

Sun Shuhua, female, is over 60 years old. In November 2001, someone informed police that she was distributing truth clarifying materials. Thus, she was arrested and sentenced to one year of forced labour.

Zhang Shuqin, an over 60-year-old female, was forced to leave her home and become homeless to avoid persecution. She was arrested and sentenced to one year of forced labour. She began a hunger strike in the detention centre. She vomited blood after prison guards force-fed her.

Zhao Yanhong, female, is about 30 years old. While going home, she was arrested and sentenced to one year of forced labour.

Chai Xiaoju, a 29-year-old female, was forced into homelessness, and later arrested. She went on a hunger strike following her arrest. She is now tied to a wooden board every day and cannot even take care of herself.

Wang Yinling, a 38-year-old female, was arrested after being forced into homelessness.

Wang Jianwen, male, over 40 years old, was arrested in June 2001.
